My mission as the artist behind Malina Mindell Natural Light Photography is fairly simple: make sessions fun, make children and grown-ups smile, and make everybody look pretty. This is no stiff-pose-in-a-studio-with-harsh-lighting-and-miserable-kids-squirming experience. Rather, I’m here to photograph you and your family as you are in real life, whether that be skipping across a lush, grassy field or jumping through waves at the edge of a foamy ocean, or enjoying a meditative moment sitting barefoot in the sand as the sun dips below the horizon. At Natural Light Photography, less is more and simple is simply beautiful.

Soft morning light and those dreamy, ethereal moments just before sunset are my favorite times to shoot. The light is magical at both these times and casts a warm, hazy glow on the subjects being photographed. In my work I’m drawn to a visually soft aesthetic, where melted hues of blue and pink and yellow combine to make each photograph a separate piece of art to be yours and treasured forever. Photography is not only about the finished product, but about the experience being photographed, one that you will recall fondly the rest of your life.
